About Me

My first trip to Europe was also my very first solo adventure. I had been struggling to find friends who were ready to commit to booking an international trip. Something in my gut told me to just go ahead and book it on my own. If others wanted to join, they could. In March of 2018, I booked a round-trip flight to Iceland for just $268, and it changed my life. With each solo journey, I gained more confidence. I loved the freedom to do exactly what I wanted, whenever I wanted. I became more in tune with my surroundings, meeting locals and fellow travelers along the way. While most of my trips are solo, I also make time to travel with friends and family. Six years after my first solo adventure, I started Travel Trek Teach to share my travel experience and knowledge with others. As a teacher with a limited budget, I don’t let that stop me from having incredible adventures. Join me on my journey for travel itineraries, tips, and hacks on how to book cheap and free travel!
