After flying with so many different airlines over the years, I think I found my new favorite long-haul airlines. Korean Air economy seats really impressed me compared to what I am used to in economy. Here’s why.

Delicious Food and Endless Snacks
Let’s start with the food. Economy meals can be pretty hit or miss, but the food on Korean Air economy was actually really good. If you’re not sure which meal to choose, definitely go with the salmon bibimbap. It was so delicious! On top of that, they stocked the galley with snacks you could grab anytime during the flight. Between snacks and meals on this flight, my stomach stayed full and happy for 15 hours.
The Cleanest Airplane Bathrooms I’ve Ever Seen
So I’ve been on a number of long-haul flights and sometimes the bathrooms are trashed towards the end of the flight. But not on Korean Air! I’ve never seen flight attendants clean as often as they did on Korean Air. By the end of the flight, the floors were still clean and not covered in urine.
Comfortable Seats with Extra Legroom
I’m on the shorter side, but even I noticed how spacious the Korean Air economy seats felt. The seats had more legroom than I’m used to on other airlines and kept me comfortable on my 15 hour journey.
Thoughtful Amenity Kit
Most economy seats don’t offer much beyond a blanket and maybe headphones, but Korean Air goes the extra mile. They offer a nice amenity kit and even slippers! This felt like something I would receive in business or premium economy so I really appreciated this small touch. After my experience, I know I will be booking Korean Air economy seats in the future!
